Maureen Sun has lived and worked in the US, UK, France, South Korea, and Hong Kong, and taught at Princeton, the University of Hong Kong, Barnard, NYU, and Yale. Her work has received support from the Elizabeth George Foundation, MacDowell, Yaddo, and Lighthouse Works. Her nonfiction has been recognized in The Best American Essays 2021 and appeared in The Yale Review, Literary Hub, and elsewhere. She has recently completed her second novel, Desert View, and is at work on a third.
